About Us

We are a not-for-profit arts organization located in the Federal Building Uptown Greenwood.  February 2009 marked our third year in this wonderful facility.  We reached another milestone this year and received the 2008 Elizabeth O'Neill Verner Governor's Award for the Arts in recognition of outstanding contributions to the arts in South Carolina.

The Arts Council of Greenwood County is committed to enhancing the quality of life through the arts for area residents and visitors.
