The Arts Center Galleries
One of the most exciting features of our new home is the Countybank Art Gallery. This beautiful, open space has high ceilings, large windows and great lighting. Comprised of 3,300 square feet of floor space, the gallery offers an outstanding venue for art. The Countybank Gallery holds group exhibits as well as large solo Exhibits. In May of 2009, we opened an additional exhibit space for local and non local artists: CapitalBank Special Exhibits Gallery; perfect for solo exhibits, small showcases, as well as student exhibits.
The Arts Council plans monthly and bimonthly exhibits with receptions for each. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as Saturdays 9:30-1:30.
Some great Saturday Events include the SC Festival of Flowers and SC Festival of Discovery.
