We offer three seasons of Programs at the Arts Center:
Winter/Spring Schedule, (Jan-April)
Summer Schedule, (May-Aug)
Fall Schedule, (Sept-Dec)
Our Programs include weekly classes, week long camps and one & two day workshops for both Youth and Adults.
We also offer Hands-On Tours throughout the Year for any group; includes a tour of the current exhibit and one art activity to take home!

The Arts Center provides a number of
Outreach and Partnership
programs with the community and other cultural organizations!
In March 2009, the Arts Center and the SC Arts Commission funded an outreach program called the Very Special Arts. The program educated over 115 students at the Burton Center and several District 50 schools, as well as provided performances and an art exhibit of the works created.
In June 2009, the YMCA and the Arts Center of Greenwood partnered to create a week long camp called Express Yourself! This program provided an introduction to explore several art making techniques for ages 5-15. Also in June 2009, the Arts Center was one of the hosts of Creative Spark Week, a collaborative Youth camp based on a partnership of the emerald triangle organizations, Greenwood Community Theatre, The Museum, and The Arts Center. Look for this unique summer camp in 2010!
In June and July 2009, The Arts Center of Greenwood and the Self Family Foundation funded a 6 week outreach program with GLEAMS and Parks and Recreation to provide art activities for over 150 students ages 6-14. The Art Activities took place at the Brewer site as well as the Hodges Site and the lessons were created by 4 art teachers employeed by the Arts Center.
In October 2009, Uptown Development organizes an entire uptown Halloween event call Boo Bash! The emerald triangle works together to plan activities for the crowd including pumpkin decorating from Uptown, Ghost stories from GCT, a haunted walk through at the Museum and face painting at the Arts Center. In Feburary 2010, a partnership with the Greenwood County Library will take place about The Big Read; theme, to kill a mocking bird. Details TBA at a later date.
