Traveling Exhibits
The Museum now offers a growing selection of traveling exhibits available for rental to other institutions and educational venues. These exhibits are drawn from the collection and research interests of The Museum’s staff and are the perfect solution for smaller, budget-minded organizations. Current offerings include:
A Home for Everyone: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Usonian Designs
This 16 panel show explores Frank Lloyd Wright’s quest to create the quintessential “American” home late in his career. It addresses the central design tenants of Usonian architecture through the comparative exploration of the Lowell Walter House (Quasqueton, IA) and the Rosenbaum House (Florence, AL) and analyses the long-lasting impacts of this relatively obscure portion of Wright’s career. Requires 150 linear wall feet. Call for pricing and availability.
Southern Visions: The works of Delores Meldrum (in development)
This art exhibit provides a snapshot of life in the rural south at the turn of the 20th century. Large format oils, acrylics, and pencil drawings were each taken from historic photos and reproduced in photorealism. Requires 100 linear feet. Call for availability and pricing.
