Because of the generosity of the City of Greenwood, renovations have begun at the Railroad Historical Center! The Grand Opening of the new Visitor's Center will be on May 9 at 10:00 AM. We are still in the process of restoring our antique train cars. If you are interested in helping us with this project, please see the form below!

Car Seat Dedication Sale:
In 2013, The Museum and Railroad Historical Center will be focusing on renovating our antique train cars. We are kicking off our fundraising efforts with a Car Seat dedication sale. There are still seats available on our Seaboard Passenger Car and our Piedmont and Northern Interurban Car! This is the perfect gift for the train lovers in your life!

The Railroad Historical Center, owned and operated by The Museum, includes an exhibit on the railroad history of Greenwood, a gift shop and a collection of seven historical railroad cars.

- Open May through October
- Thursdays-Saturdays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Reservations are required for groups of 25 or more.
Admission for the center is free. Donations are appreciated.
